Nestled on the fringes of the Adyar river and set in sylvan surroundings, Chettinad Vidyashram, a renowned seat of education in Chennai, is managed by a scion of the royal Chettinad family – Kumara Rani of Chettinad, Dr Meena Muthiah.
An educationist and a philanthropist, Meena Aunty, as she is affectionately, strives for excellence not just in education but also fine arts. Besides conducting various extracurricular activities she has inculcated the spirit of theatre and dramatics in her students.
The sixth edition of Chettinad Players - Raghuvamsam – is to be held on November 24 at their school auditorium.
‘Raghuvamsam’ is an epic on stage in English.
