Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, is organising its second international conference on ‘Intelligent Agent and Multi-Agent Systems’ (IAMA 2011), September 8, at its Thandalam campus.
The inaugural address would be by Dr G V N Apparao, vice-president, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai.
There would be felicitations by some of the big names in the computer field:
Dr T Thyagarajan, chairman IEEE, Madras Section;
H R Mohan, chairman, IEEE Computer Society, Madras Chapter;
Dr R M Suresh, chairman, Computer Society of India, Chennai Chapter; and
Dr R Ponnusamy, president, Artificial Intelligence Association of India.
The presidential address of the conference, to be held in the conference hall of the Green Building, REC, would be by Dr Thangam meganathan, chairperson, REC.
Dr T V Geetha, chair, technical committee, IAMA 2011, REC, would give an overview of the event.
While REC principal, Dr S Renganarayanan, would welcome the delegates and guests, Dr Sheila Anand, dean (research), Computer Studies, REC, would propose the vote of thanks.
