The fifth edition of Femfest ’12, a cultural extravaganza, organised by Sathyabama University, was held on February 17-18.
The cultural event was attended by over 100 colleges from across the country. The focus of this year’s event was to spread awareness about breast cancer among young women, for which a workshop was held.
The event was inaugurated by south Indian cine actor, Pia Bhajpai. The events included hotch-potch, word power, desi beats, mish-mash, colour wheel, twist and turn, jockeyz corner, brain grade, don it, and a fashion show.
The judges of the day were RJ Paloma and actress Neelima. Nearly 50 stalls were put up, including game stalls.
The audience were treated to a musical concert by playback singer Chinmayi.
The other events included face painting, solo dance, pencil shading and photography. The chief guest at the grand finale was cine actor Shriya Saran.
