It is a moment of pride for south Indian cinema as Photon Kathas, the production company floated by director Gautham Vasudev Menon, is being listed in the London Stock Exchange.
Photon Kathas has the Mozart of Madras, A R Rahman, a good friend of Gautham, is one of the partners of the company.
Rahman, known for his creative music, is the creative adviser for the company, while Gautham is the chief creative officer.
Apart from these two geniuses, the other shareholders are Gautham’s friends and contemporaries.
Photon Kathas is co-producing movies like ‘Nadunissi Naaygal’, and ‘Veppam’ along with R S Infotainment which co-produced Gautham’s blockbuster ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’.
