Vijay TV is back with its ‘Bhakthi Thiruvizha’ - a five-day spiritual fest at Chennai. Commencing on March 2, 2012, ‘Bhakthi Thiruvizha’ will be inaugurated by Muralidhara Swamiji at 5 p.m. at Narada Gana Sabha.
Following the inauguration, Smitha Madhav will present a classical Bharatanatyam performance.
At 6 p.m., Muralidhara Swamiji will deliver his speech. At 7 p.m., there will be villupaatu by Subbu Arumugam on ‘Kaaladi Mudhal Kanchi Varai’.
At 7.30 p.m., Oo. Ve. Kidaambari Narayanan’s spiritual discourse will take place on the topic ‘Bhakthi’.
On March 3, at 5 p.m., there will be Harikatha by Needamangalam Alamelu & V. Suburaman on ‘Bala Leelai’.
At 6 p.m. Oo.Ve. Karunakarachariyar’s upanyasam on topic ‘Karadiyum Kurangum’ will take place.
At 7 p.m. bhakthi songs will be rendered by Super Singer-fame Shravan. At 7.30 p.m., Desa Mangayarkarasi presents the upanyasam on the ‘Rama Avatharam’
On March 4, at 5 p.m., there will be Harikatha by Suchitra on ‘Varanam Ayiram’.
At 6 p.m., Ilampirai Manimaran presents upanyasam on ‘Dharmamae Vellum’. At 7 p.m., there will be mamasangeerthanam by Sattanadha Bhagavathar. At 7.30 p.m., ‘Bhakthi Mandram’ will be held by judge Prof Dr Selvaganapathy, Pulavar Ramalingam on the topic ‘Navukarasarin Bhakthi Nerigal’.
Following this, Dr Vijayasundari presents upanyasam on ‘Gyanasambantharin Bhakthi Nerigal’.
On March 5, at 5 p.m., upanyasam by Dr Prema Kumar on topic ‘Arithin Petrathu’ will be followed at 6 p.m. by Manikandan’s upanyasam on ‘Thaayir Sirandha Kovilumillai’.
At 7 p.m., namasangeerthanam by Udaiyaalur Kalyanaraman will be followed by Oo. Ve. Dhushyanth Sridhar on ‘Naan Kandein’ at 7.30 p.m.
On March 6, at 5 p.m. there will be Harikadha by Sindhuja on ‘Thiruchendur Magathmiyam’.
At 6 p.m., it will be upanyasam by Oo. Ve. Damal Ramakrishnan on ‘Vibheeshna Saranagathy’. At 7 p.m. we will be treated to namasangeerthanam by Kalyani Margabandhu.
At 7.30 p.m. there would be upanyasam by Srinivasa Ramanujar on ‘Dheiveega Jodhidam’.
Prasadam will be served for the audience on all five days.
