There seem to be a lot of additions to the Chennai culinary scene. Food joints, pizza parlours, restaurants, hotels are mushrooming every day. The latest to join the bandwagon is ‘Embers’, a restaurant in the posh Rutland Gate area in Nungambakkam.
‘Embers’ lures the youth who hang out in tres chic outfits enjoying the ambience and, of course, the food. There are two floors and dining in the open air is also an added attraction.
Priced at Rs 60, the non-alcoholic shooters are famous here. The exquisite menu includes munchies, tandoor, briyani, chicken tikka, pasta and extraordinary desserts like cream tart, malai kulfi and strawberry chocolates.
The delicious ice creams and tarts are a perfect balance to the spicy chicken and dhum briyani.
‘Embers’ is a favourite haunt for teens as well as food-lovers who can satisfy their tastebuds all under one roof.
