Lakshmi Devanth is a prolific writer and a researcher in Carnatic music.
A multi-faceted personality, she has authored a number of articles on various topics in leading publications over the years. Lakshmi is passionate about making the youth learn about our priceless heritage through lively presentations.
‘Pictures of Melody’, a series authored by Lakshmi, graphically captures the life and times of two great legends of music - G N Balasubramaniam and the Nightingale of India, M S Subbulakshmi – in two books.
The books are being released at Chennai Landmark stores and the guests of honour are vocalists Sudha Ragunathan and Bombay Jayashree.
