On every Pournami (Full Moon) day, annabhishekam for Ragu-Kethu and Nakshatra Homam for 27 stars is performed at the Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet. This month it falls on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Danvantri Homam and Sudarshana homam will also be performed on this day.
Annabhishekam is performed in the evening for Ragu-Kethu and the prasadam will be distributed to all participants.
All stars have great energy on Pournami day and, hence, Nakshatra homam is performed on Pournami days at Danvantri Peedam from 5 p.m. The star constellation in which moon is placed at the time of one’s birth is called janma nakshatram. By participating in this Nakshatra Homam, one will find improvement in life and doshas will be removed.
