Innings defeat for India

  Resuming at 88 for 4, India desperately tried to avoid the innings defeat but failed to do so. India was bowled out for 171 falling short by 37 runs   to make the Aussies bat again. Australia go 3-0 in the series   with the last test to be played at Adelaide. Australia have won the Border- Gavaskar trophy.Thsiw as India's 7th consecutiev deafeat in overseas test .Siddle had Kohli for 75 to signal the end of Indian innings . Kohli was the most confident Indian batsmen in this match and he top scored. The decline when Harris bowled Dravid for 47 at 135 , bringing to an end the 84 run partnership for the 5^th wicket . This was Dravid ‘s 8^th dismissal in this fashion in the last 10 innings.The procession  followed culminating in the inevitable.  Hilfenhaus  was the most successful of the bowler with 4 for 54  . Siddle 3 for 43 and Starc 2 for 31  provided good support.Trailing by 208 runs India   continued  to fare disastrously loosing the 1^st 4 wickets for 51 runs before Dravid and Kohli  provided some resistance on the  ^2nd day.Warner was the Man of the Match.
